Even Little E is trying to speed things along in the basement; she wants that dedicated TV room to watch Berenstain Bears in.

Fall Photos

Another busy week - and I didn't even get around to posting the pictures from last weekend. Yesterday was such a nice day, so naturally I spent it in the basement banging up drywall. It went pretty well, although with a few mishaps. Ian and I were just hitting our stride when we had to stop for a big steak dinner. The photos below are a combo of last weekend and this weekend.

Another birthday!

This weekend Ella hit a real milestone, her second birthday! The most notorious things that happen when a child hits this age is the onset of the 'terrible twos' and paying for airline seats. While neither of these excite me too much, it is exciting to see how much she has grown and developed. Her birthday party on Friday was chaos, kids everywhere with adults following behind. H made another awesome cake and it was deemed a rousing success. It was great to have my sister and Anthony able to make it for the party also.

Happy Thanksgiving

It was nice to have a weekend at home, and even better that we enjoyed some sun, got to relax and spend some time together and even have my sister and her husband breeze through on their way to Quebec. H made an awesome roast for dinner last night with some yorkshire puddings that were delicious. This morning we were off to do some pumpkin shopping, spotting Phil Fontaine picking up some farm produce of his own in his $600 italian loafers. This evening it is off to do more eating as we are going to H's parents for turkey dinner.
